SAP HCM (Payroll)

Job Description:

Location: Kuala Lumpur

 

Requirements: 

  • SAP HCM Certified

  • 6-8 years of SAP HCM Payroll implementation experience

  • Multiple end-to-end implementation experience (3-5 large project or 6-8 medium-sizes projects) for Employee Central Payroll (cloud) or SAP Payroll (on-premise)

  • Understanding of country-specific legal and regulatory requirements (Malaysian payroll knowledge mandatory and SG payroll is and added bonus)

  • Schema and rules knowledge mandatory

  • Strong payroll process knowledge mandatory

  • Ability to configure standard payroll reports like payroll account/payroll journal etc and work within the confines of SAP Payroll standard delivery

  • Strong Payroll posting to finance knowledge

  • Strong client facing skills

  • Implementation experience using Activate methodology

  • Ability to closely collaborate with developers, writing Functional Specs and testing Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflows

  • Ability to take full ownership and responsibility for the stream deliverables, including integration points with other modules and teams

  • Outstanding functional knowledge and gap analysis experience; detailed understanding of business operations to ensure the best solutions are provided to our customers.

  • Strong issues resolution experience with excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Adaptable to the consulting lifestyle with flexibility to travel which may be minimal or extensive depending on project requirement

  • Additional knowledge and experience in other SAP Modules, SAP ByDesign and SAP S/4 Hana or Fiori in relation to HCM will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibility:

  • Provide consulting services to client in an efficient and effective manner, based on technical expertise and experience.

  • Act as subject matter expert in Human Capital Management

  • Delivery of workable solution, with primary focus on SAP HCM and integration with other modules, to meet client’s business requirements.

  • Act as primary resource accountable for HCM deliverables. Carry out all phases of the project, form Business Blueprint (including detailed designed), Realisation (including Configuration, Data Migration, Testing and Training), to Final Preparation & Cutover / Go Live Support, and Transition to Support.

  • Run and facilitate workshops to carry out Busines Analysis and detailed design of Business Solutions

  • Define business goals, scope of work and scope of change initiatives, outline and translate specification of business requirements (FRICE functional specifications) and provide solutions to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed scope of work or changes

  • Configure the system to meet design and business requirements.

  • Perform unit testing on all processes (embracing planning, design, management, execution, and test scripts) and provide assistance and issue resolution for System Integration and UAT using appropriate technique that conform to agreed project standards.

  • Assist with Data Migration including preparation, guidance to customers, writing upload programs and loading data.

  • Facilitate logical integration testing with other related SAP Modules and interfaces in order to verify end-to-end business process.

  • Develop and execute training as required.

  • Carry out applicable Change Management Processes as pre-defined by project management

  • Prepare and conduct project handover to Support Consultant

  • Apply and utilize Industry and Business Best Practice knowledge and tools

  • Adhere to corporate standard, security guidelines and sustainability and deliver within time constraints.

  • Identify sales opportunities at existing customers and communicate internally to management team. Support presales effort as needed in response to proposals and conducting demonstrations and presentations

  • Conduct knowledge sharing with colleagues.
